Biggest boat show in the region set for its 19th show with many novelties in store.
Biograd Boat Show, Croatia’s largest boat show and central Europe’s in-water show, is set to open its doors on Thursday, 19th of October for its 19th time, with well over 300 registered exhibitors and 300 vessels, reports eZadar on September 20, 2017.
The boat show will be held at Marina Kornati in Biograd, as always, until October 22, 2017. New exhibition space and floating tents, which is an extra 1000m2 of space, will be added near the entrance to Hall C to provide space for even more exhibitors than the past years. Floating exhibition tents will also be set up for exhibitors who need space at sea. The pontoon bridge connecting the north and west part of the marina will be doubled in width, and new congress facilities will be added.
New Nautical Business Networking Event for 2017
Due to the lack of exhibition space, Ilirija company has created the Biograd B2B Nautical Business Networking event that will enable business visitors to participate in the Biograd Boat Show without an exhibition stand. Biograd B2B participants can register their company and arrange meetings by networking via social events and a comprehensive Congress Programme, which includes the Croatian Nautical Forum organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy. The entertainment programme will feature many live music performances including Neno Belan headlining the Saturday Open Party with a fireworks spectacle by Mirnovec, which will promote their Fun Park in Biograd. The Fun Park will be open during the event, offering a family atmosphere and experience in Biograd.
There will also be many regattas organised during the show; the BBS regatta, which is open to the public, the Samobor regatta, which continues to expand and grow, and Offshore Challenged, which will see more than 450 participants.
After the 18th consecutive fair with the record number of visitors, Biograd Boat Show has developed into one of the largest and most visited boat shows in the region, and the largest on the Adriatic, with the highest number of vessels and exhibitors participating in the event.
