An analysis and a competent partner are being sought by the City of Zagreb.
As Poslovni Dnevnik reports on the 21st of September, 2017, The City of Zagreb is seeking a partner to aid in the design of a management strategy for property owned by the company Zagreb Holding (Zagrebački Holding).
An estimated 1.3 million kuna (excluding VAT) will be required to implement a ten-year strategy for the period from 2017 up until 2026.
It has been clarified that the main purpose and aim of drafting this new strategic document is to initiate certain investments, attract more potential future investors, and besides focusing on the development of Zagreb Holding itself as an entity, it also requires alignment with the national strategy guidelines, which will otherwise come into force in 2018, running until the year 2020.
The final document will also provide a detailed view of the property in the capital city’s overall portfolio, some of which incredibly has a total lack of basic information. One of the requirements from the city is to implement a strategy to analyse the current state of the real estate/property fund and its management models, as well as to initiate the comparison of the property market and its competition within the wider Zagreb area.
When a proper partner is found, the City of Zagreb expects recommendations and advice on possible solutions to disputes and confusion which surrounds certain properties, their sale or retention, and their various forms of use should retention be the case. The much awaited document is expected within a period of 60 days.
