Insane weather in Croatia continues with a shelf cloud, multiple waterspouts and heavy rain and hail reported in Istria
A part of the Istrian peninsula was hit by very unstable weather this mothing, reports Istramet on September 24, 2017.
Heavy rain and thunder were reported in certain areas, considerably varying from town to town. For example, the eastern part of Pula got 42mm of rain by 11:30, while the western side hasn’t seen any rain at all. Some neighbourhoods in the city were reportedly hit by hail as well.
Out at the sea, 4 waterspouts were spotted in Medulin earlier today.

At the moment, a giant shelf cloud is approaching Istria from northwest, with multiple waterspouts spotted on its front.
