Centre Closed for Traffic on Sunday Due to Zagreb Marathon

Zagreb Marathon takes place this Sunday from 9 am to 3.30 pm.

Zagreb Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 8 from 9 am to 3.30 pm which is why certain streets and roads in the wider centre of the city will be closed for traffic, reports Večernji.hr on October 4, 2017. 

The following part of city will be closed: Ilica Street (from Selska Street up to Jelačić Square) – Ban Jelačić Square – Jurišićeva Street – Draškovićeva-Vlaška- Kvaternikov Square – Maskimirska Street – Dubrava Avenue (from Dubrava ZET terminal to Druge Poljanice Street) and Vlaška Street (from Draškovićeva Street to Cesarčeva and Bakačeva Street).

At this years 26thZagreb Marathon, around seven thousand runners will compete in three different categories: marathon, half marathon and citizens race. For more information about the event, click here.
