The 16th conference will be devoted to two segments – business and technology.
The WinDays conference, organized by Microsoft Croatia, will take place in Poreč from 26 to 29 April for the 16th consecutive year. The conference traditionally attracts renowned global and local lecturers, and many other participants from the business and IT sector, from the public sector and academic community, and a great number of media representatives, reports Večernji List on March 20, 2016.
Held under the slogan “Let’s Initiate Ideas”, this is the largest business-technology event in the region, and it will involve a number of roundtables and workshops. The conference is also a unique opportunity for making business contacts.
WinDays16 starts with the Business Conference which lasts from 26 to 27 April, and includes three topics – creating and adopting a culture of success, attracting foreign investments and building new companies. One of the interesting names within the program of the Business Conference will be Graham Brown Martin, a lecturer, writer and consultant known for his provocative and challenging ideas about the future of education and about transforming the way we learn and live and directing young people towards the professions of the future.
WinDays16 Technology Conference will commence on 27 April and will end on 29 April. In addition to news from the world of technology, the newest solutions for improvement of business operations, the latest information about Microsoft products, including Windows Server and Azure, participants will also have an opportunity to hear interesting information pertaining to two new directions in technology – digital and open source. Among the speakers will be Sander Berkouwer, who will teach the participants how to successfully create a hybrid identity in their own environment, while Alex Mang will help developers better understand the implications of cloud computing. Joining the speakers at the conference will be Aleksandar Drašković, an expert on SharePoint who comes from the Microsoft office in Ireland.
As in previous years, before and during the conference participants will collect WinCoins, virtual conference currency which can be replaced in WinCoin Shop for small rewards. The participants will also take part in the traditional charity drive which will this year help the Association of Handicapped People of Poreč.
