Air Transat to Introduce Five Zagreb – Montreal Flights in 2018

The flights will be available in May, June and October.

Canadian carrier Air Transat will introduce limited flights from Zagreb to Montreal, EX-YU Aviation reports on November 8, 2017.

There will be only five flights, and only from Zagreb to Montreal, as a stop on Air Transat’s Zagreb-Toronto route. The five flights will take place on May 30, June 6, October 10, 17 and 24. The carrier spokespeople have stated that there is a big demand for flights to Zagreb, adding that they sell package holidays to Croatia, too. The airline has travel packages to various cities across Croatia and deals with eighteen hotels, so that might be the reason why there are only one-way tickets.

In addition to the new route, the carrier has announced that they are upgrading their aircraft (Airbus A330-300 instead of -200), but the capacity will remain the same (375 seats).
