Because autumn is the ideal time to cozy up with a comforting meal.
While many of us can believe it, many more of us cannot; but we have somehow reached the month of November.
Although the quick passing of time can be frightening, it does mean that we never have to wait too long to enjoy the various perks each new season brings. Autumn in Split, for example, is a fan favorite. Though temperatures drop, we become reacquainted with raindrops, and sweaters and coats can finally be reintroduced into our wardrobes.
Colder weather, however, has an even better bonus – and that is an entirely new spread of seasonal foods we can enjoy.
To ensure that all of us in Split take full advantage of tasting autumn, Para di Šoto (yes, the only restaurant in Split located inside of Diocletian’s 4th-century Imperial Spa), has prepared an impressive menu focused on the flavors and aromas of this colorful season.

For November, guests of Para di Šoto can indulge in a three-course menu meticulously crafted by the restaurant’s famed chef.

While each meal will begin with a seasonal soup of the day, the selection of main courses is bound to entice you.
For example, guests can choose between:
– Forest porcini and black chanterelle risotto
– Risotto alla dolce garbo
– Istrian fusi pasta with smoked cuttlefish
– Lamb ragù with locally grown legumes
– Homemade pasta with Dalmatian pancetta and black truffle
Each meal is completed with a seasonal dessert from the restaurant.

The three-course meal, which is set at a promotional price of 100 kunas (yes, we mean it), will be available for the whole of November.
