Dubrovnik, Pula, Split, Zadar, Zagreb: Latest Flight News from Croatia

The new flight announcements to Croatian airports this summer show no sign of slowing down. An overview of the latest news, with good news especially for tourists and diaspora in Ireland on January 30, 2018. 

Great news for both Irish tourists and the growing Croatian diaspora in Ireland, as ExYuAviation reports that Croatia Airlines intends to launch a summer season service from Zagreb to Dublin, following talks between the airline’s CEO and Irish Ambassador Olive Hempenstall last week. Croatia Airlines plans to announce its summer expansion plans next month or early March.

In more good news for those wanting to travel between Ireland and Croatia, Aer Lingus will add another weekly flight from Dublin to Dubrovnik, as will Split and Pula. More information on the Irish connections on ExYuAviation.

Will there be any Scandinavians left in Northern Europe this summer, or will they all be on Croatian beaches? The new flight announcements continue, as Norwegian has announced it will add Zadar to its growing network of Croatian destinations, with two flights a week from Oslo. The new service will run from June 19 to August 12. Norwegian already flies to Dubrovnik, Pula, Rijeka, Split and Zagreb.

French interest in Croatia’s coast is increasing every year, and there will be a larger number of visitors to Dubrovnik from Lyon this season, as Air Nostrum has introduced a new line each Saturday from April 14 to October 20.

There will be more visitors from Ukraine to Split and Pula too, as Windrose has announced an increased service from the Ukranian capital, Kiev. There will be two flights a week to Pula from June 16 to September 11, while flights to Split will also run twice a week, from June 24 to September 16.
