Government Will Provide Help to Landslide Victims

ZAGREB, March 17, 2018 – Construction Minister Predrag Štromar said on Saturday that the government would help all citizens whose property was damaged or threatened by landslides.

Speaking to the press in the spa town of Tuheljske Toplice, Štromar said that the government would repair houses damaged by landslides or provide alternative accommodation. He said that this applied not just to Hrvatska Kostajnica, about 90 km southeast of Zagreb, but to all areas affected by landslides.

Štromar was in Tuheljske Toplice for a meeting of his Croatian People’s Party (HNS), a junior partner in the ruling coalition.
