Yesterday, Petra Štruklec won the shot put bronze in the F40 category, throwing a distance of 4.83 meters.
The young 17-year-old student at technical school Faust Vrančić and AKOSI Agram member of Zagreb threw 4.83 meters, which is her best result this season.
“This achievement impressed me so much, and it was hard to train with coach Ante Pavković. Every day after school I trained for three hours a day and then studied. And that was from day to day. Although I look different from my peers at first glance, doing athletics has filled me up with so much and given me a great impulse to prove that I can. I can hardly wait to go back home and share my happiness with my parents,” said Petra, who has been an athlete for three years.
