Some days spent at the beach on Korčula are just ordinary
Some other days are, simply put, not so.
Today, some time in the afternoon, there was a large family at Bačva. They swam, they had some drinks at the very friendly bar at Bačva, and then they decided it was time to go back to where they are spending their nights on Korčula. They all boarded their less-than-6-meter-long boat, and then the (grand)father-figure of their family decided that it was a perfect time, after everyone has dried off and was ready to go, to gift us all the gift of his music.
From God knows where he took out his accordian, and 30 meters away from the beach filled with people, he played some music.
Was he good? Well, honestly, no, not really.
Were the people that were on the boat with him embarrassed? Yes, extremely.
Was it fun for us on the beach? Well, I can’t speak for all of us, but we laughed, and when he finished, we gave him a standing ovation.
After that, they just left, leaving the beach and going west, literally into the sunset.
