After New York, London, Berlin, and Paris, Wu-Tang Clan will perform at the Sea Star Festival in Umag. Their Istrian performance will be exclusive to the entire central, southern and eastern Europe.
Sanjin Djukic, Director of Sea Star Festival: “We have the great Wu-Tang Clan for a full-fledged show on a tour that marks the 25th anniversary of one of the most important albums in history, which is in itself an unparalleled musical, cultural and tourist event!”
The largest hip-hop group of all time, Wu-Tang Clan confirmed they’ll be performing at the Sea Star Festival this year, which will take place on May 24 and 25 at Stella Maris in Umag. The group is coming to Istria as part of a massive international tour is already selling out some of the biggest arenas in America and Europe, reports Glas Istre on April 5, 2019.
After performances in New York, London, Berlin, Paris and other world metropolises, Wu-Tang Clan will visit Umag – and their performance at the Addico Tesla stage will be exclusive to the whole central, southern and eastern Europe.
Tens of thousands of fans from many European countries are expected to visit Istria to catch the “Gods of Rap” tour, which is believed to be the last in the group’s full composition. The tour also marks the 25th anniversary of the most influential rap album ever. Namely, “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)”, released at the end of 1993, still provides the basis for young generations thirsty for quality hip-hop.
Negotiations for Wu-Tang’s performance in Croatia lasted for seven months so that the Sea Star organizers could ensure that ticket prices are best adapted to local and regional audiences. And better yet, Sea Star festival goers will have the chance to see Wu-Tang for a lot cheaper than the rest of the tour, where tickets cost over 100 euro.
Wu-Tang Clan joins Sven Vath, Nina Kraviz, British hip-hop diva IAMDDB, DJ Illario Alicante and more. Two-day tickets for Sea Star are currently being sold with a 50% discount (229 kuna), though the offer ends on April 15.
