Medi, a German company, is one of the world’s leading producers of medical equipment, and they’ve just selected the Croatian company, Q, as their partners in their upcoming project.
They’re not the first or the biggest of the big international companies who have already partnered with Q: before this, Q worked with The Times, BBC, Coca-Cola, Lufthansa, Volkswagen, Facebook, Hilti, Vaillant, as well as pharma companies Novartis, Takeda and Almac.
The application being developed by the Zagreb-based company uses a special camera which allows for the most precise 3D measurements of body parts thus far, to be used for medicinal purposes. It’s a part of an innovative new product to be offered to Medi’s customers, and Q’s original solution was developed in close cooperation with the American company Lymphatechnology. The entire process, from the scanning of the selected body part and the creation of the precise 3D model is performed automatically through a single interface.
Q’s CEO, Filip Ljubić, explains that the solution will make the selection of medical equipment much easier, with such precise measurements. The next step is to send the measurements directly to the webshop so it can propose sizes and characteristics of the equipment to be used. The app is already used in Germany in pharmacies and specialised stores, and soon it will find its way to other European markets, as well as to the USA, Canada, Brasil, China, Russia and Australia.
The Croatian company Q is the fastest growing software agency in Europe, according to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ EMEA, 2019. They’ve won other awards, such as the European Business Award, as well as the REBRAND 100® Global Award for brand excellence. Their headquarters are located in Zagreb, with offices in Belfast, Zurich, Vienna and Hamburg. They have over 130 experts working for them, on over 20 markets in the world.
