4th edition of Startup Camp Rijeka, event designed to help develop start up proposals into viable businesses, started today at the Science and technology Park of the University of Rijeka and will go one until this Sunday, September 6th.
18 teams from Croatia, Georgia, Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Moldavia, Romania, Azerbaijan, Poland and Ukraine, selected from more than 70 entries, will be able to participate in this 25 day programme during which successful entrepreneurs and investors from Croatia and the US will mentor them.
Through a variety of different team-building exercises, lectures, workshops and individual coaching challenges, they will further shape their ideas and develop an actual product or business. Finally, a panel of four venture capitalists/businesspeople (2 American and 2 Croatian) will evaluate their projects, and the winners will receive awards from the organizing partners.
Startup Camp Rijeka is organised under the auspices of the US embassy and in cooperation with the Croatian Business Angels Network (CRANE)
