The swimming season at the Sinj City Pool began at 9 am this morning! 20 of the bravest swimmers dived into the new season at the pool and didn’t mind that low outside temperature of 19 degrees and water temperature of 22 degrees Celsius.
The people of Sinj and their guests will be able to enjoy the City Pool until the beginning of September from 9 am to 9 pm, every day except for the feast of the Virgin Mary (Velika Gospa) and the Sinj City Day.
Sports facilities manager Stipe Blajić invited swimmers to spend their free time at the City Pool this summer, expressing hope that we will have a long, warm summer without much rain.
Ticket prices for the pool are the same as last year. Children and adults can swim from 9 am to 12 pm for 10 kuna and from 12 pm to 9 pm it is 10 kuna plus a surcharge of 5 kuna for each subsequent hour of swimming. Pensioners pay 5 kuna from 9 am to 12 pm, or 5 kuna per hour for swimming from 12 pm to 9 pm. Children up to 5 years are free of charge. You can also buy a monthly pass for 200 kuna, which allows you to swim every day for one hour.
This year, the swimming pool will have training for non-swimmers and swimming lessons for children who want to learn more about swimming techniques.
