On Sunday, the 9th round of the recreational XC Winter League of Dalmatia will take place in Otok!
For this year’s Winter League, the popular Kamešnica Bicycle Club has organized a race that climbs to the top of Kamešnica mountain. The race will begin on Sunday, March 4th, at 12:00 from the center of Otok at 340mnv, while the goal of the race is at Gornja Korita at 980mnv.
The length of the route is 12.5 km with an altitude difference of with 670 meters. Along with the alternating shorter asphalt parts and macadam trails, the route also has 3 short straight sections.
The goal of the race is Gornja Korita, precisely right next to the source of the purest drinking water at 980mnv. The view from the top scans from the highest peak of the Kamešnica mountain, “Konj”, as well as a look onto the lowland part of the Cetina hinterland.
After the end of the race, a joint lunch and proclamation of the best are planned by OPG Džimbeg.
