Helen Ochyra visits Dubrovnik and provides us with advices on bars in caves, cliff-jumping and kayak trips to a cursed island. Let’s see what Sunday Times Travel found out about our much-loved city
An interesting article about Dubrovnik was published in the Sunday Times Travel and we couldn’t wait to see what the journalists discovered. Helen started her journey from the very morning landing in the newly opened Terminal at the Dubrovnik Airport. Arriving to the city via the airport road, one is always found staring breathtakingly at the medieval walls from the road and this was the case with Helen too, with her stating that this was a love at first sight.
She takes us on a journey through the Old Town from Pile Gate to Stradun and City Walls with a mandatory visit to numerous churches in Dubrovnik and reaching the summit on Mount Srđ by using the cable car.
While having meals, it is often mentioned that Dubrovnik is not a budget break and the prices in the Old Town match those in the UK, but with quality being superior in Croatia. Well, we must agree on this.
Dobar tek! 🙂
