Dubrovnik is never shy when it comes to showing the depth of its heart and good will, this time, it has been deservingly recognised by the League Against Cancer.
As Glas Grada reported on the 20th of May, 2017, Dubrovnik has been awarded for a long and successful cooperation with the League Against Cancer.
Miho Katicic, the head of the Department of Education, Sports, Social Welfare and Civil Society, participated in the solemn assembly of the Dubrovnik based League Against Cancer in the timelessly beautiful setting of the Marin Drzic Theatre, located in the heart of the city’s historical UNESCO centre. The gathering took place in order to properly mark and celebrate the 50th anniversart of the establishment of the charitable organisation – League Against Cancer.
During the ceremony, various acknowledgements were given to numerous individuals, companies and associations who have selflessly contributed to the tireless work of the League. The Dubrovnik League Against Cancer was awarded by no less than the City of Dubrovnik for its continued efforts and hard work
The head of the Department of Education, Sports, Social Welfare and Civil Society Miho Katičić participated at the solemn assembly of the Dubrovnik Cancer League held in Marina Držić Theater, marking and celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the League. Numerous acknowledgments were also given to individuals, companies and associations that contributed to the work of the League. A special charter of the Dubrovnik Cancer League, which expresses gratitude for a successful long-term cooperation, was also awarded by the City of Dubrovnik.
