Third Recreational Humanitarian Bike Ride Held in Zupa Dubrovacka

Good will, bikes and open hearts in the Parish of Dubrovnik!

As Dubrovacki Vjesnik reported on the 3rd of June, 2017, the Youth Council and the Municipality of Zupa Dubrovacka (Parish of Dubrovnik) organised the traditional Rectrational Humanitarian Bike Ride, this is the third in series and took place to mark the Day of the Municipality (Dan Opcine).

Taking a long route through the picturesque countryside and passing various settlements, the participants purchased shirts at a cost of 20kn, with all the proceeds going to families in need who live in the area. At the end of the ride, as a sign of gratitude, the Municipality paid tribute to the participants at the Dominican monastery, where the selfless and tireless bikers were hosted by the veteran/defenders Eko-Župa co-operative.

A day spent outdoors enjoying th surroundings with the aim of selflessly helping others, what could be better?
