For those of you looking for active tourism during your Croatia visit, cycling around the island of Korčula is one of the best ways to experience the true essence of what the Adriatic has to offer. Here’s a look at the various cycling tours you can enjoy with Korčula Outdoor.

Lumbarda Biking & Tasting Tour

The Lumbarda Biking & Tasting tour takes cyclists on a half-day adventure around the island. Cyclists begin their journey in Korčula town, and on a mix of asphalt, gravel and dirt roads, they pass through the fields, villages, and vineyards towards their destination of Lumbarda. The tour will explore the east side of the island, from its medieval roots to the scenic landscapes, beaches, vistas, and local ways of life. Cyclists will also have a chance to meet the best winemaker in the area for a wine and food tasting, followed by refreshments and some much-needed relaxation at one of Lumbarda’s beautiful beaches.

This tour begins at 9:00 every day and lasts 54 to 4.5 hours. Cyclists will ride around 15 kilometers, and it is recommended they bring comfortable shoes, breathable clothes, hat, sunscreen, beachwear, water, and snacks. The minimum age for participants on this tour is 12 years old.

The tour costs 450 kunas (59 euro) per person. For bookings and more information, visit Korčula Outdoor.
