Be Blown Across the Channel by the Strong Maestral Wind

Just like ancient settlers carved history into stone, so do modern day residents carve their trails into the sea. The Pelješac Channel separates Korčula Island from the Pelješac peninsula and is commonly known for strong western Maestral winds, offering a delight for any wind-propelled sport on water. Travelling near or through the Channel, you can observe kite and wind surfers of all ages, mixing with local shipping traffic.
