The Vatreni have returned from their heroics in Russia, and they have dispersed to various parts of the globe to take a well-earned rest.
But it seems that not all of them are willing to split up so quickly, and a significant number of Croatian sporting heroes are heading to one Dalmatian island in particular – Korcula.
Modric, Kovacic and Lovren have all been posing for the cameras on Korcula in recent days, and they have been joined by another Croatian sporting star, tennis legend Marin Cilic, who is spending an extended stay on Korcula preparing for his next tournament.
An excellent choice, and it is easy to see why Korcula is a prime target for relaxation, with its very laid-back lifestyle, traditional fresh food, excellent local wines and beaches to do for, as well as adequate sporting facilities for those who want to keep in shape. We wonder who will be arriving next week…
