3, 2, 1…Split Tourist Board Announces Complete Program for Advent in Split’s New Year’s Eve Weekend!

A jam-packed weekend awaits to help the people of Split ring in the New Year.

The Split Tourist Board has announced a schedule of events for the beautiful New Year’s Eve weekend ahead, reports Dalmatinski Portal on December 28, 2017. 

“In the morning, we will leave the old year and welcome the new year with the youngest at Đardin. This year, along with the beautiful lights, Dardin became a family oasis for fun and socializing – and music, dancing and childish laughter will not be missed, especially when this celebration will see a delightful surprise guest – Joško Čagalj ‘Jole’,” said the Split Tourist Board.

Already a traditionally excellent event for the craziest night of the year is ‘Uranila Nova’ at Pjaca, marked by song, dance and a combination of snow and sun. A fun New Year’s Eve will also be had at the Tourist Palace, along with the Adio 2017 party and the DJ New Year’s Eve ‘crash & trash’, all of which will spice up the Split New Year’s Eve party in front of the Gallery of Fine Arts.

On the Riva, the party will begin at 21.00 and will last until 3 am! 

“At exactly midnight, a spectacular fireworks display will illuminate the sky above Split. The music will begin with the band Mjseni Odbor, playing happy hits that combine island rock, funk, polka and reggae. The people of Split will be introduced to the New Year with one of the best entertainers in this region, Jole, and for a pleasant atmosphere until the early morning hours, Gustafi will lead the musical composition. Visitors can also join the salsa dancing salon on New Year’s Eve at Fruit Square as part of the Salsa Split Silvester Nights Festival,” added the Tourist Board.
