The action “Buy Croatian” will come to the Split Riva on May 26, 2017.
In its 20th consecutive year, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) has pursued the national action “Buy Croatian“. This month, Croatian businesses will have the opportunity to sell their products in Split on May 26, 2017. The action will be held on the Riva from 09:00 to 19:00, reports Dalmatinksi Portal on May 12, 2017.
Exhibitors will come to Split from all over the country with a rich offer of autochthonous foods and beverages, textiles, footwear, cosmetics, souvenirs, and a host of other attractive products at promotional prices.
The aim of the action is to educate and raise awareness about the importance of buying Croatian products – buying local is not only a driver for job creation, but it preserves existing jobs while increasing the competitiveness of the Croatian economy.
HGK aims to continuously promote all of the companies, crafts, cooperatives, associations, OPGs and individuals who, through their work, knowledge and creativity, contribute to the development of the diversity of the economy. The action also gives importance to selected exhibitors whose products and services are of the highest quality on the domestic market as a result of Croatian tradition, development and research work, innovation and inventions.
The action will be joined by key representatives from trade activities as potential distribution channels, companies in the financial sector, and other key stakeholders in Croatia.
Visitors will be able to see an exhibition of Croatian products, taste, and buy the products on offer, and will be able to listen to many promotional and educational presentations. A rich cultural and artistic program is also planned. The entrance is free.
