Join Para di Šoto on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, and enjoy an explosion of tastes in French for Goût de France!
On March 21st, over 3000 chefs will present 3000 menus from all five continents to invite the world on a culinary journey to France. As part of the restaurants participating in Croatia is Para di Šoto, tucked away in the oldest hotel in Split in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace.
Para di Šoto’s chef, Anisija, has crafted a magnificent menu for everyone to enjoy this Wednesday.
Menu:
The French tour begins with either octopus boiled in Plavac mali Škrapa red wine with Jerusalem artichoke cream and squid ink brioche buns or the Adriatic tuna steak in Dalmatian spices in a crust of almond flakes and pistachio, served with wild herbs. For dessert, a poached pear in spiced red wine with French chocolate cream or the chocolate mousse with chestnut dust and a salt flower will tame your palate from the flavor explosion
Recommended wines are the Plavac mali Škrapa red wine and the Glamour sparkling wine.
A bit about the chef…
“Anisija is a former fashion designer who decided it was time to put down her needle and thread and devote herself to other forms of art. Taking part in the reality show Masterchef only confirmed her decision after which she continued to enrich her culinary skills by attending Culinary Institute. International culinary seminars and workshops gave her the chance to cook with respectable chefs and to create her own signature and unique cuisine,” writes the Gout de France website.
The menu price is 30 euro per person while the recommended red wine and sparkling wine is not included in the menu price.
