Nova restaurant, ex. restaurant Euphoria and ex. Šumica, is located on Put Firula in Split, just steps away from Bačvice beach. Nova, the successor, has hopes to prepare traditional Dalmatian dishes with a modern twist.
Restaurant Euphoria, what was once Šumica and is now the new name of “Nova”, is the concept of chef Mario Mandarić who turned the Euphoria kitchen upside down and inside out to create something new – hence the name, “Nova”? The restaurant will now be influenced by flavors from all over the world, as chef Mandarić brings in new ideas and international flare to classic Dalmatian fare, reports Dalmatinski Portal.
Traditional Dalmatian dishes prepared in a modern way is the short description of what you can expect at Nova. Chef Mandarić claims you won’t even recognize the plates that the new restaurant staff will be preparing, and we take that as a good thing.
