The Split IKEA will open this August in an annex type space at City Center One.
Just a few months ago, IKEA announced their arrival in Split, which we were told would be by the end of this summer. Today, we have received the final confirmation of the location for the business that will open its doors in mid-August, reports Slobodna Dalmacija on May 29, 2017.
The IKEA building, as we have mentioned before, will serve as a “pick-up point” where customers will be able to pick up their ordered goods without having to pay the delivery fee from Zagreb, automatically lowering the total cost of the order.
The area that will host the new IKEA (which is currently a parking lot) will see a warehouse that will cover roughly 1,5000 square meters with 1,000 square meters of exhibition space for customers to come and see the furniture in person.
“With this move, the company ‘IKEA Croatia’ wants customers on the coast close to their solutions while allowing them to tour their desired products before purchase. It is, at the same time, in line with our global strategy which aims to improve the shopping experience across multiple channels for our customers,” said Igor Štefanac from “IKEA Croatia” during the announcement of the arrival in Split.
Just a few more months to go!
