The 11th annual “Šoltanska Regatta” will take place from October 1-2, setting sail from Zenta in Split to Stomorska on the island of Šolta.
In its 11th edition this year, the competition will begin at 11h on Saturday, October 1. A fleet of over 60 cruisers with a total of 300 sailors will set sail on the starting line in front of the Split club Zenta to Stomorska on the island of Šolta.
“The race is a favorite amongst sailors, with a huge interest in participating, but because of the capacity of Stomorska bay on Šolta, we unfortunately cannot increase the number of participants. The sponsor of the regatta is the Municipality of Šolta, and the co-organizer is PRŠD Pelegrin from Stomorska, and Association Rusmarin,” states Damir Dominović, the club organizer of JK Zenta.

After the race on Saturday evening on the waterfront of Stomorska, a big party will be planned, where islanders and guests from the mainland will come together to bid farewell to the summer season.
On Sunday, the start time is scheduled for 10:30h from Stomorska back to Split, where the same evening, starting at 19 hours, there will be an awards ceremony naming the fastest crews.
