People of Split Gather for Rainy Easter Morning at Prokurative

Despite the rain, the people of Split came out to Prokurative this morning to enjoy a delicious Easter morning.

From 10:30 to 12:00 today, Prokurative was the host for the event “A delicious Easter morning” which was organized in cooperation with the Tourist Board of Split and the association SKMER, reports Dalmacija Danas on April 16, 2017.

Many traditional Easter dishes were prepared including ham baked in bread, traditional Easter bread “sirnica”, eggs (hard boiled and dyed), and homemade bread. The feast was even accompanied by a musical program.

“There was a lot of food for our citizens and tourists who came out in large numbers. The rain drove us under the overhang which distracted the event a little, but in the end all of the portions were distributed to the satisfaction of us and the visitors,” said Mariana Pivalica from the Tourist Board of Split.
