“The location on Žnjan has become too small for all of our ideas, and a new location offers a better ambiance and a sea view.”
Within Split’s booming restaurant scene there has quickly become more than a few restaurants we would call the most famous or the best.
That is further confirmed, however, when it comes to Zora bila – the reader’s choice restaurant winner for popular portals Dobra hrana and Jutarnji.hr last year.

Proud owners Sandra and Dane Tahirović, who are both also the chefs and the waiters at the restaurant, have said goodbye to their famous Žnjan location, thanking their guests for the time spent together there over the last five years, reports Dalmatinkski Portal on June 2, 017.
“Last night, we said goodbye to one of the episodes that will be written in gold in the biography of our lives. We said goodbye to Zora bila on Žnjan. It was during this period that we went through the long journey to fight for every inch of the creation of a strong and recognizable brand. The period in which we knew that at any time we could lose the game, but that at the end of it, we would hear the applause for our fight and our effort. The applause and the ovation from our friends on the last night was an applause to the winners, and we can leave Žnjan as outright winners. That applause will ring forever in our heads and be our motivation for the future – is it because of that applause that we have lived and worked for all these years. And for that reason it is very emotional because we are saying goodbye to the best space that we’ve shared together for all of these years,” said Sandra and Dane.

But the good news? Sandra and Dane announced the opening of Zora bila at a new location! On July 1, 2017, the restaurant will open their doors in the former Stellon area on Bačvice beach.
“We are moving to one of the best Split locations where we will continue to develop our story. The location on Žnjan has become too small for all of our ideas, and the new location offers a better ambiance and a view of the sea. We believe that we will be more accessible to our guests, and they will always be the focus of our work,” the owners concluded.
