Running for its fifth consecutive year this year, “Romance in Salona” will kick off on Saturday, July 23rd.
Organized by the Solin Tourist Board, Romance in Salona is an event that interprets ancient heritage through a the running theme, this year being “Ancient Night”. Held in the amphitheater in Salona, visitors can expect gladiator fights, ancient dances, an ancient crafts fair and many other surprises.
A special feature this year will be a comedy performance by stand up comedians Marina Orsag and Josip Škiljo, marking the beginning of a romantic ancient night night with laughter.
A free shuttle will be organized from Split starting at 19h in front of the F-caffe near the Jadrolinija office. The return shuttle will embark back to Split at 22:45 in front of the church sv.Anastazije in Solin.
A free tour of Salona will also be organized, with a departure at 19:30 from Manastirine in Salona.
