The fair is open through Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm.
The Spalatum Expo ‘Souvenir Fair’ is officially open on the Split Riva through Sunday! Organized by Spalatum D.M.C., traditional souvenirs will be presented by 48 producers from all over Croatia, reports Dalmatinski Portal on May 10, 2018.
“The highlight of this event is that we are offering quality, original and unique souvenirs designed by artisans and art workshops, which include interesting handicrafts, art and edible souvenirs that should be an important segment of what this tourist destination offers. The skills used to make these items are part of the heritage of traditional crafts, and in today’s reign of plastic and uniformity, such a manifestation is an opportunity to preserve these products from oblivion,” said the organizers.
The organizers of the event have invited all private landlords, hoteliers and hosts to support the event and visit the fair to find original gifts for their guests, whether it be a pillow of lavender, trinkets, olive oil, honey or sheep cheese from the island Krk which boasts the label of an original island product.
At the main stage on the Riva tonight, a concert of klapa singing will begin at 7 pm. The mixed klapa Filip Dević, the female klapa Marjanka, and the klapa Čiovo will perform. The fair can be visited from 9 am to 9 pm until Sunday.
