Split Beach Festival held on Bačvice beach will lead into its third edition this year, with UK based drum & bass, soul, funk and pop group – Rudimental.
This year the Split Beach Festival is expected to be an even bigger spectacle than last year, making this festival very important for Split’s tourism. Along with Rudimental will be dance music attractions La Fiesta and DJ Julian Jordan, with many more to be announced in the coming months. Bringing a new found energy to Bačvice and the city, festival organizers have said the festival will be held on August 4th, 5th, and 6th.
Director of the Tourist Board of Split, Alijana Vuksic, has said that it is important for Split to become a prestigious world music destination, and that the arrival of more than 40 artists at this year’s festival will surely attract many guests looking for excellent music entertainment. This project has been supported for three years in a row because the tourist board believes it is extremely important for the city as it helps bring the city of Split into new markets, especially geared towards a younger audience.
With music as the best motivators for tourism, Split Beach Festival is sure to boost the number of tourists coming this August.
