Today is the Day of Marjan. This day is celebrated each year on the first Sunday after May 9th, the day that the Marjan Society was founded in 1903.

Marjan, the famous hill on the peninsula in Split, celebrated their day today. With a full program of events, the people of Split all enjoyed paying tribute to their favorite green paradise in the city.

To honor this special day, we thought we would take a look back at Marjan as it once was with the help of the Facebook group Split kroz pivojest
