Fotoklub Split has announced the return of the Split Photomarathon for the first time in three years!
After a three year break, Fotoklub Split has announced the return of one of the city’s favorite competitions – the Split Fotomaraton!
The competition was presented by the president of Fotoklub Split Maja Prgomet, who explained the rules and regulations competitors must follow. The competition is conceived so that, within a period of time, competitors must photograph a specified number of items by category. Also, the photos must be taken in the order specified by the competition.
The partner of this year’s competition is the Association “Our Hajduk”. Tomislav Mikulic, the project leader of the association, presented the theme for the competition itself which follows the recent project launched by Our Hajduk titled “For all time”. The winner of the contest will receive a Hajduk jersey with the signatures of Hajduk’s first team, and the overall winner of the competition will win a football with the signatures of Hajduk’s first team.
On September 16, 2017, the photo competition will begin at 11 am at Prokurative in front of the Bellevue Cafe.
All professional and amateur photographers from Croatia and abroad can participate in the Split Photomarathon. A category for competitors up to 18 years of age will also be introduced so long as competitors have a written consent from their parent or guardian to participate in the competition.
Applications are open from September 4, 2017, to September 15, 2017. The participation fee is 50 HRK for Fotoklub Split members, and 70 HRK for everyone else. The contest is limited to 100 participants, and if there is still room to register on the day of the competition, the registration fee will be 80 HRK for everyone. A t-shirt will be available for all competitors who sign up before September 11th.
