While there are many reasons why moving to a new country are great, one reason in particular stands out amongst most: your best friends from back home come to visit.
I’m lucky to have had a lot of friends visit me during my two years in Split, and while traveling the nearly 12 hour journey from California is somewhat of a trek, welcoming them into my new city and culture is a feeling unlike any other. They seem to enjoy it too.
Last week, two of my dear friends made the journey via California and Italy to enjoy a busy five days with me in Dalmatia. One of them, a professional photographer in Los Angeles, captured each moment of our adventure together – shining a new light on Split that has awaken us all at the core.
