Because today it feels like summer in Split…
It is almost 20 degrees Celsius in Split today and the arrival of a Viking River cruise ship, coupled with tour groups parading the Riva, made today truly feel like summer was closer than ever.
We can assume that cruise guests might have been on the Viking River Cruise from Venice to Athens which stops in Split after two days in Venice, and continues onto Dubrovnik after one night in Split.
Of course, crowds of coffee drinkers sat in the sun lined along the promenade while plenty of selfie-stick happy tourists made their way throughout the old town.
Lucky for those of us in Split, the weather should only be getting nicer from here…
