This Week in Performances at HNK Split

This week at HNK Split, you can see the performances of Metamorphosis, The Nutcracker, Little Floramye, and a Charity Christmas Concert hosted by RNK Split and Klapa Cambi.

12.12: Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka @ 18:55 – Perhaps the most significant literary work on alienation transformed into a chamber drama directed by Ivana Plazibat, where Niksa Arčanin hard stage movement evokes the fate of a man trapped insect.

 

The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky @ 19:30 – The Nutcracker has become a “mandatory program” for Split ballet lovers in the holiday season. A whole Ballet Ensemble, together with young dancers from ballet studios, are included in this lavish production with more than 130 dancers on the stage.

Little Floramye by Ivo Tijardović @ 19:30 – Following the original ideas and drafts of maestro Ivo Tijardović, Little Floramye was imagined as an homage to a lost time and spirit, addressing contemporary and new generations at the same time: Is there any place for love and respect for our differences in this carnival whirl of anachronism, politics and consumerism?
