How about day trip with The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, My Bloody Valentine, Azealia Banks, Calexico, The Cribs, Gang of Four, and more, including some of the biggest Croatian and regional music attractions lie Dubioza Kolektiv, Mayales, Kawasaki 3p, My Buddy Moose, etc? This can be possible with pleasant and not very long drive from Split to Šibenik, and by visiting Terraneo Festival from August 7 to August 9.
Festival is taking place for the third time in former army barracks Bribirski knezovi. Since its founding in 2011 Terraneo became one of the biggest attractions in southeast Europe, especially for alternative music fans. All afternoon performers are lining up on three stages, and after that DJs are steaming up atmosphere in former army warehouses. Forbes Magazine listed Terraneo as one of the Top 10 music festivals in Europe, same came from The Daily Telegraph and some other media.
Very popular part of Terraneo is its camp, as well as numerous ecology programs. Starting this year, Terraneo will have its own beach nearby. Beach and camp will offer more music and socializing, with two acoustic and laid-back stages. Price for five days of camping is 33 euros.
For those staying in Split and not being big camping fans, it’s easy to travel from Split to Šibenik, and then return after enjoying concerts. Drive is up to hour long, and directions are here. It’s even possible to go there by bus from Split to Šibenik, and then to use festival shuttle service.
