Program for these 3 antique evenings:
First night – ” Ancient theatre night “- Garden Tusculum – July 31. 2015 (Friday), 21:00h
– a theatre play about the life of the emperor Diocletian prepared by school children from Solin area
– ancient love poetry and music performed by Ivana Kenk Kalebić (mandolin) and Stephen Popovic (guitar)
– guided free night tour of Salona from Manastirine to the Episcopal center
The second night – “Ancient night” – Amphitheatre – August 01. 2015 (Saturday) 21:00h
– the Emperor Diocletian and the Empress Prisca entering the amphitheatre
– gladiator´s fight (Spectacula Gladiatoria), a belly dancer (Devi Rani Najev), fire show (Elsie Angeles Novakovic), dancing in ancient togas (Kids from Solinski bubamarci)
– VIP reception at the Parać house serving “The food of the ancient Romans” (restaurant Gaspic Solin)
– ancient crafts fair at the amphitheatre (blacksmith, pottery, basket knitting, ceramist, ancient mosaic workshop, antique hair styles, dishes, bow and arrow, stone carving..) from 20:00 till 22:00.
The third night “Empress Plautilla night”- Amphitheatre – August 02.2015 (Sunday) 21:00 h
– fashion show on flower decorations in ancient times
– concert of the famous Croatian cellist Ana Rucner
– ancient crafts fair at the amphitheatre (blacksmith, pottery, basket knitting, ceramist, ancient mosaic workshop, antique hair styles, dishes, bow and arrow, stone carving..) from 20:00 till 22:00.
A free bus from the Split Riva (near F-cafe) for all visitors as follows:
