This weekend has to be one of the most eventful weekends in 2017, filled with festivals taking you back in time and combining two best things in life – wine and music. Here are some suggestions of events worth visiting
1) Swing City Festival Zagreb
This big dancing event will take place in Zagreb April 21 – 23. There will be dancers from all around the world, so you can learn from inspiring and experienced teachers, dance to live bands, take dancing walks around Zagreb and have tons of fun!
2) ZmaJurjevo
ZmaJurjevo is a two-day cultural-educational manifestation with an aim to revive the history of Zagreb and Croatia and mark the beginning of spring. The two-day event will include plays, workshops, concerts, lectures, crafts, archery tournament and other things.
The spring edition of the popular Wine & Music wine tasting series – organized by Eno expert, will give winemakers from Međimurje a chance to present their wines and announce the Pušipel Festival –Urbanovo. Wine & Music takes place this Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Petit cafe bar in Petrićev prolaz (Ilica skyscraper passage, Ilica 1).
4) Zagreb Time Machine
Don’t think you’re going crazy if you start seeing people who remind you of characters from Zagreb legends or real people from Zagreb’s history – it’s Zagreb Time Machine, not your brain playing tricks on you.
This traditional and very popular manifestation will take place from April 22 to October 1, 2017, so there’s plenty of time to see Zagreb’s past come to life, and, what’s better, all the events are completely free.
