Did you know that Jackie Chan filmed a movie in Zagreb in 1986?
Armour of God is an action comedy film that nearly cost Jackie Chan his life – when he jumped of a ledge during a stunt, he grabbed a branch which broke and he fell down and cracked his skull. He was rushed into hospital where he had an eight-hour surgery. Even though it resulted in him having a permanent hole in his skull, it didn’t stop him from going back to the set and even taking over the director’s seat.
Other parts of the movie were filmed in the Upper Town and in the neighbourhood of Trnje.
