UPDATE: ZET has issued a new press release on April 4, 2017, apologising for the inconvenience, explaining that tickets were not available at certain Tisak kiosks and stating that Tisak will remain one of their contractual partners, meaning that you will be able to buy tickets at Tisak kiosks the same way you always have.

After some very good news from ZET in the past months, including the 4 kn ticket, new bus service to the airport, and eliminating the third and fourth tariff zones, here’s a not-so-good piece of news: passengers will no longer be able to buy tram and bus tickets at Tisak kiosks. The “not-so-good” part refers to the fact that Tisak kiosks were the most convenient places for passengers to buy tickets at because they are located directly at or near tram and bus stops.
Some sources have reported that the drivers had been complaining because selling the 4 kn tickets means that they have to multitask while driving, so we’re wondering if this will put additional pressure on them.
So, starting Monday, April 3, 2017, you will be able to buy public transport tickets only at ZET offices at certain terminals, iNovine, Hrvatska pošta, and from tram and bus drivers directly. Tickets will still be available at Tisak while old stocks last, but there will be no new tickets coming in.
