Old Cableway Vs. New Cableway

Even though the cableway hasn’t been around for ten years now, most Zagreb residents think back to it with nostalgia as the retro cabins remind them of good old times.

We have to admit it, the retro vibe is brilliant, but the city has to keep up with the times, and the modern new design is in no way less appealing.

The starting point, Dolje terminal at Gračani will be located at 267 m; next stop, Kutna, at 308 m, Brestovac at 877 m, and the final stop, Gornja postaja, will be located at 1030 m. 84 cars (each seats 10) will be able to take 1,500 people from Dolje to Gore in one hour. It will take 16 min to complete the 5012-metre journey,  and it will cover a height difference of 756 m.
