Total Croatia News

Beer and ice cream are two of everyone’s favourite things, yet they are usually enjoyed separately. Did you ever wonder what a combination of the two would taste like? Well, wonder no more – the cake and pastry shop Orijent recently introduced a mind-boggling flavour of ice cream to satisfy your curiosity.

Called IPA beer flavour, the icecream is made using IPA (Indian pale ale) from the local craft brewery Nova runda, and is described as a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness with a distinct citrus note. Judging from the Facebook post where they made the announcement, everyone seems pretty eager to try it out.

Orijent is known as one of the best pastry shops in Zagreb. Every year, they introduce a new seasonal selection of ice cream flavours that are made using fresh ingredients, their milk and eggs coming from local farms. The quality of their ice cream is indisputable, leaving it only to your personal taste to decide about the beer flavour!
