Budget Traveller is a popular website with tips on travelling in style on a budget. Kash aka Budget Traveller won the 2016 National Geographic Traveller Blogger of the Year Award and was featured in Lonely Planet, CNN, the NY Times and the Guardian. He writes about various topics, including luxury hostels, and wants to encourage people to think differently about budget travel.
Kash says that, even though everyone should visit Paris, London, Amsterdam and Berlin at least once, overcrowding leads to many problems, so you might want to consider visiting some other underrated cities which are off the beaten track – including our very own Zagreb and Zadar.
Some of the other European cities on the list include Athens, Porto, Cordoba and Rotterdam. Croatia and Spain are the only two countries with two cities on the list.
