We’ve already written about this ingenious and beautifully designed map of Zagreb by USE-IT coming soon. Today, the map is finally available to all!
The Hello Zagreb Info Center has issued a second map of Zagreb, reports Zagrebancija.com.
USE-IT Zagreb map is primarily intended for young travellers, although locals will surely find something interesting for themselves as well. The map was created as part of the USE-IT EU project, which provides free maps for young travellers in 35 cities around Europe. The maps are done by volunteers and all the information is provided by locals. Along with interesting locations and attractions, you will also find numerous tips on how to act like a local.
“The character of contessa Nera (Grič witch) is featured in our new edition, who guides you through the entire map. Also, this year, we have focused on the hidden side of Zagreb, and have included things only known to true ‘purgers’. The map also contains the Act Like a Local section, in which we reveal some of the little things we do, even some of which we are ashamed of. Drink Like a Local section focuses on Craft Beer. And of course, we’ve also written about the food we eat, the events we visit and a bit of history because, besides being fun, we want this guide to be informative too,” explains Anita Tutić, head of marketing and sales of the Hello Zagreb info center.
You can pick up your free copy of the map at Hello Zagreb info center at Radićeva 14 from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.
