Zagreb From Above Photography Exhibition has opened on October 5 at the new Zagreb Gallery R3a, reports Zagreb.info on October 5, 2017. The new gallery is located at Ribnjak 3a, and it is part of the “LOCALS” Association for the Promotion of Art and Culture in Zagreb, whose first project is the exhibition of Zagreb aerial photos shot by anonymous Zagreb photographer. The exhibition will be open until October 15.
Zagreb From Above project was initiated and realized by a young guy from Zagreb, who prefers to stay anonymous. He decided to shoot from a somewhat different perspective and does it exceptionally well. The photographs are taken by a drone in high resolution and showcase famous Zagreb spots such as the Cathedral, Medvedgrad, Victims of Fascism Square as well as some less-known neighbourhood places, such as the parking space near Paromlin or Classical Gymnasium in Križanićeva Street. His bird’s eye shots and photos of Zagreb are regularly posted on Instagram and leave thousands of followers in awe.
