Total Croatia News

The festival will take place September 7 – 10.

36 Mountains is a festival dedicated to illustration, the aim of which is to bring illustration and drawing closer to the public, and also to present the best of the local and global illustration scene and to recognise young and new artists. The form festival tries to move away from the typical gallery approach.

The festival will take place September 7 – 10 at the Bačva Gallery of the Meštrović Pavilion.

The festival organiser Jelena Bando said the following for Vizkultura on August 28, 2017:
“I’m extremely happy that the public has also shown a great interest for 36 Mountains in the past years, and I am very proud of its success. The third edition of the festival will bring together many Croatian, regional and European illustrators and give a chance to emerging artists to showcase their work. I try to take the festival to a new level each year, and this year’s topic is black, which I’m sure will attract new visitors as well.”
