The Stari Grad Plain deserves more attention than it gets. Not only it is such a beautiful place on the island, but it is the best preserved parcellation done by the ancient Greeks between 8th and 4th century B.C.. Walking those old paths, lined by the old stone walls, which are dividing the perfect quadrangular pieces of land. A fertile land – growing olives and lavender and wine, just like all those hundreds of years ago. It is like going back in time.
